Movie Review: Lovely Complex Live Action

Since I just can't get enough of LoveCom, I watched the manga's live action. hehe. Though my real purpose is to compare whether the movie levels the tv anime (although the live action was released first before the anime). And the verdict?... later na. :D

Lovely complex live action film is the adaptation of the manga series starring Teppei Koike as Atsushi Otani and Ema Fujisawa at Risa Koizumi.

The plot follows the story of anime: Otani and Koizumi have height complexes. Then it came to point when Koizumi grew feelings for Otani to finally confessed to Otani. Otani thinking it is odd for them to be a couple, gave the answer of being just friends yet after some time he realized he already like Risa and they lived happily ever after. hehe. Simple and predictable plot isn't it?



The movie differs the anime in little details in order to capture the whole story in 1.5 hours. But still, the movie was able to grasp the story's flow smoothly.

What I like about the movie is Teppei Koike himself! hahaha. Perfect for Otani's role. ;))

What I dislike is the fact that I watched the anime first! I was very overwhelmed with the anime and expected the movie to be like it. The exaggeration in the movie is a NO NO for me. And the movie is less romantic...and the movie is less goofy. Grrr. Lesson learned for mangas having live action film. @_@



Favorite scenes? Hmmm the summer festival and their school trip scenes. :D

LOVE SLUMP?

DI AKO MAKAGET OVER! Gumulong gulong lang naman ako sa higaan ko 2 nights na. GGGRRRR. Even tin is having this slump. BBADDTRIPP! And it's all because of Aya Nakahara's Lovely Complex.

Lovely Complex (LoveCom) is a love story focusing on Risa Koizumi and Atsushi Otani. Koizumi is 172 cm tall, height taller than a normal Japanese girl while Otani is 156 cm tall, height smaller than a normal Japanese boy. They are classmates althroughout their high school years and they are the school's well-known comedy duo, making people call them "All Hanshin Kyojin" which is derived from the popular comedy duo having similar height difference.

On the first episode, the story presents their everyday quarells, the blossoming of their own love interests, Koizumi with Suzuki and Otani with Chiharu, and then eventually agreed on helping each other out for it. But as their love interests became a couple, both Koizumi and Otani had given up leading to a dare on who's first to have girlfriend/boyfriend despite their height complexities.

As the story goes on, Koizumi's feelings for Otani grew ANNNNDDD, from Koizumi's efforts in expressing her feelings, to giving her best for Otani to see her as a girl, to still giving her best after she was dumped for the first time, and further give her best after she was dumped the second time, leading to 'verbally' giving up, ATE ALMOST ALL OF THE EPISODES! HAHAHA.

Enough for the SPOILERS. :D The story really made me cry... cry to death because of the suuupper funny scenes. DI BA TIN? :P (although I also cried as I saw my efforts as Koizumi's hehehe >:) pero bottomline, kikiligin at sobrang matatawa ka. panalong panalo talaga!





Features:

1. Simple yet super kilig plot. it just revolved on the Labu-Labu thing. And I don't know if this is a strength or a weakness. hahaha. Although the events are predictable, you'll still end up enjoying them. hehe. Tin and I wished for MOOORREEE episodes. :P

2. Comedy Genre. strength to opkors. The chessy and boring labu-labu was light. Walang episode na inde ka tatawa as in. Extreme ultra mega energy ang meron sila everyday + their exagge facial expressions.

3. Kawaii (cute) characters. Risa is cute when she's in "normal" condition (as she's the one who always wear those exagge facial exprs). hahahaha. You'll go for Otani even though he's small! Daisuki waaa. EVEN MAITY-SENSEI! hahaha =D~

4. Use of Kaisai-ben (Kansai dialect). All characters speak using Kansai dialect and I think it adds to the comic nature of the anime. It was emphasized whenever they say 'Arigato' yet I still love 'Nanyate?' ahihihi




Favorites:

1. EPISODE 18. Koizumi's best birthday. With all the fireworks and the most momentous event! super winner!

2. Their class' horror house. iiyak ka na lang sa pinaggagawa ni Koizumi. :D

3. Many to Mention from here. tama na. ;))

How To Debug ASP Classic using visual Studio .NET 2005

Debugging ASP classic scripts is not as easy as pressing F5 (Start Debugging) on your visual Studio. Hehehe. Yet, with mr. always reliable google's help, I was able to find a way! Weee. The following are the steps in order to debug ASP classic. :D

COMMERCIAL! Important Thing to consider: Your IIS Version. :D

Steps:
COMMERCIAL: ALL instructions are sequential :D

Enable Server side Debugging on the Virtual Directory
1. click Start, Select Run, type inetmgr then ok. IIS appears. :D
2. Tick local computer->Websites->Default Websites. Select the virtual directory of your application.
3. Right click the virtual directory then select Properties.
4. Under Directory Tab, find configuration button then click it.
5. Under the Debugging tab of the Application configuration window, check Enable ASP server-side script debugging.
6. click Apply-OK twice. Then close IIS window.

Enable script debugging on Internet Explorer.
1. Open IE.
2. Click Tools menu then select Internet Options.
3. Under the Advanced tab of the Internet Options window, find Browsing category and uncheck Disable Script Debugging (Internet Explorer).
4. click Apply then OK.

Now debug using Visual Studio .NEt 2005
If your IIS is 5.1, proceed to -> How to debug classic ASP pages in VS 2005: IIS 5.1

If your IIS is 6.0, proceed to -> How to debug classic ASP pages in VS 2005: IIS 6.0

paunang pasabog ngayong taong dalawang libo at walo

nakalimutan kong gawin nung dec31 ang aking yearly assessment. amp. at dahil inde na dapat pinapatagal ang bagay na to, banat na! :D

sa mga nabasa ko ng posts about the past year's evaluation of themselves, isa din ako sa aagree na ang 2007 ang pinaka productive na taon sa loob ng aking current life span. anu-ano ang mga common denominators? una, ang makasurvive sa thesis. lahat tayo ay gumapang at sumuot sa butas ng karayom para malagpasan ang thesis. pangalawa, ang matapos ang buhay kolehiyo. congrats para sa ting lahat! pangatlo, ang pasukin ang industriya sa labas ng school. isa pa ulit na kampai! pang-apat, ang mapunan natin parehas ang pangangailangan at gusto natin. mas marami nga lang ung sa iba. hehehe :D panglima, mag-gain ng mga bagong kakilala at kaibigan. pang-anim, ma-harness ang ating skill set, inde lang sa field kundi in terms of dealing with other people. yang mga bagay na yan ang evident na similarities. kung may namiss man ako, hehehe inde ko naisip yun suri. :P

kung tutuusin, ung mga bagay sa taas eh malalaking bagay na. andun lahat ng least effort, lesser effort, effort, more effort, at most effort para maccomplish ang lahat ng yun. at lahat ng efforts na yun eh magsasabing nagMATURE tayo sa napakaraming bagay.

iseset ko sa 100% ang base ng lahat ng efforts na naexert natin sa taas. at kung base lang ang hundred, malamang may lalagpas. ang mga kanya kanyang dagdag eh nagdedepende na sa mga iba pa nating goals, sa environment, sa nature of work, at sa iba pa nating personal interests. nang dumating sa 101% ang efforts na naexert ko, nalaman kong mas marami pala akong magagawa at masyado na kong nagenjoy dun.

ayun. isshare ko ang additional efforts ko na kahit ako napaBOOM sa kagulatan. hehehe. i-categorize ko sila sa NEED, WANT, ADVANCED at RISK.

A. NEED - efforts na dapat i-comply talaga.

1. EFFORT TO ANTIPICATE. nagawa kong iready ang utak ko, ang buo kong sarili sa isang bagay na alam kong mangyayari. pinilit kong bawasan ang expectations + hope kasi alam kong madaming magbabago. ayun nangyari nga, at oks na oks ako ngayon. walang mukmok moments :D

2. SUPER EFFORT SA WORK. maraming aspects ng sarili ko ang kailangan kong pagexertan ng efforts sa work. una, mageffort para madeliver ang tasks on time, mageffort para inde maiwanan ng teammates, at mageffort para makibagay sa iba't ibang klase ng tao. kailangan kong mageffort dahil pinagpipilitan ko lang na maging programmer kahit inde naman talaga Y__Y

3. EFFORT PARA AYUSIN MGA SAKIT KO - hahaha ayusin ung term amp. literal na mga physical illness yan. hehhee. bawal na ang tamarin. kailangang mabuhay nang matino. :P


B. WANT - effort na maging talentado ako. hahaha.

1. mainichi atashi wa nihongo o benkyoushimasu :D EFFORT PARA ITULOY ANG JAPANESE SELF STUDY. more anime, more read, more write, more jap music, more practice. nakakaloka! aside from gusto kong matuto ng ibang language, i see this as an advantage for my long term goals :D BANZAI!

2. EFFORT NA MAGENGAGE ULET SA MUSIC. ibinalik ko self study lessons din. T__T. hehhee ginagawa ko to para may lalandingan ko in case na magfail talaga ako as a programmer. bwahahaha.

3. EFFORT NA MAGING GUIDANCE COUNSELOR. whahaha. nagulat ako na sobrang laki ng involvement ko sa decision making nila karen at emie. may talent na kong maging counselor! DOCTOR na ang tawag nila saken ngayon! nyahaha. salamat sa so-called 'BASED FROM EXPERIENCES'

C. ADVANCED - for 2008 pa sila! pero 2007 nangyari. :D

1. EFFORT NA DAGDAGAN ANG KNOWLEDGE SA FIELD. although considered as NEED din to, masyado kasing napaaga ang MCP :-L plano ko after one year pa. buti umulan ng biyaya ang araw na yun. ^__^

2. EFFORT PARA MAPASAMA SA GROUND UP PROJECT. iba to sa efforts sa work sa taas. one step higher to kasi mas nagleap ang skill set ko sa field. naiba to sa static na ginagawa ko sa office. KAMPAI!

D. RISK - as the word itself says. YEAH AKO ANG PINAKAMATAPANG NGAYONG 2007! lahat ng fears, mga kaepalan ng outer self ko eh naovercome ko. ako mismo kino-congratulate ko ang sarili ko sa mga nagawa ko. kinalimutan ko dito na babaeng pilipina ako.

1. 2. EFFORT TO HAVE LIFETIME HAPPINESS. ang plan ko nung march eh sa wakas nagawa ko nung december. hahaha. mga prengs! nasabi ko na! :D KAMPAI! pero dapat quiet parin tayo para kunwari walang nangyari. ahihi. isipin nio na lang kuntento na ang buhay ko. ^__^ pag may nagbago, magtataas ako ng red flag! seryoso! hehehe :D

AYUN! the turn of events reached the effort level to 200%! hahaha. ang reasons behind? simpleng planning and mind setting. at kailangang hayaan nating mag-act ang inner self. yun lang talaga. missions accomplished. hehehe.

At para sa mga inde nagawang plano? dagdag pa pala ang lumabas na issues sa buhay ko... hehehe for 2008 na lang sila. ang weakness ko to confront, suri inde ko babaguhin. quiet mouth leads to quiet life parin. hehehe. ako na lang parati magccompromise para walang away.

so ngayon 2008, i look forward to continue what I have started last year. inde pa naman tapos ung mga kabanata ng mga yun. kailangang ituloy pa rin. GO 2008! MORE HAPPINESS! MORE PROSPERITY! MORE SUCCESS! WWEEEEE. MARAMING SALAMAT SA LAHAT NG TAONG NAGING BAHAGI NG TAGUMPAY KO NUNG 2007! salamat salamat :D
